First, let us pray and give thanks to Allah. SWT, because of His pleasure and blessings, we can all meet in this place. It is such a great honor to stand here in front of all you to give a speech “the importance of seeking knowledge.
Furthermore, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity that was given to me.
Education has an important role to develop our personality. It decides and shapes what we think or see in life. It also helps us to solve our problems or obstacles in a good way. As Francis Bacon said, knowledge is a power.
Especially in Islam, we are required to seek knowledge and practice it. The obligation to seek knowledge has existed since the time of the Prophet and Allah has promised, for his servants who seek knowledge in His way, Allah will increase their level.
The most important thing you need to know, being well educated does not only mean you have to obtain a certificate or a good salary. But it helps us to determine whether something is good or bad for other people related to us.
